The Governance Committee advises and oversees the overall health of the Board and the committees to ensure compliance to current policies and practices and to provide insight on emerging issues. The Research Management Committee provides oversight of the Network Research Strategy and supports the development of CMN’s research projects and programs by working collaboratively with Network Staff to provide advice and make relevant recommendations to the Board of Directors. The Finance, Audit and Risk Committee has the authority to advise and oversee the financial reporting, information systems, risk management and internal controls of CMN, which are vested in management and overseen by the Board. The Indigenous Circle of Advisors bring Indigenous perspectives and experiences to inform the Network’s decision-making to ensure credible and durable partnerships with Indigenous communities.
