CeCe Baptiste

Biography

CeCe Baptiste, a member of Little Pine First Nation, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree as well as both the Certified Professional Accountant and Institute of Corporate Director designations.  Her career spans senior positions in a variety of sectors, including provincial, banking, crown corporations, and higher education.

Ms. Baptiste devotes her energy to enhancing partnerships between the Indigenous and the non-Indigenous community, through active promotion of leadership at board tables.  She currently sits on West Wind Aviation’s Finance Committee, is the founding chair of Canada’s Ballet Jörgen Sask. Council and a board director for the United Way Centraide Canada national board.

Her leadership roles have been recognized through various nominations and awards, including YWCA Women of Distinction, CBC’s Top 40 Under 40, FSIN Strength of our Women, U of S Canada 150 Citizen recognition, and one of ten brand campaign ambassadors for CPA Canada.  Strongly connected to Indigenous community and culture, CeCe’s leadership style is approachable and collaborative.  She is a driver of positive change with any role she assumes.
