Ainsley Sykes

Biography

Ainsley joined the Canadian Mountain Network in 2019 as the Research Co-ordinator and is now in the role of Operations Manager. Ainsley has over 20 years working at the University of Alberta in the Department of Biological Sciences. She has managed a multitude of projects from grant application to completion, including budgeting and financial oversight, risk management, ethics, and hiring and supervision of undergraduates, seasonal research assistants, and long-term staff.

Ainsley holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Swansea (UK) and a Master of Science in Ecology and Environmental Biology from University of Alberta.
