Aditya Gandhi

Biography

Aditya Gandhi is an Environmental Studies undergraduate student at the University of Manitoba, focusing on conservation and biodiversity. He is from India and has some mountain climbing experience and local ecological knowledge from the Indian Himalayas. Aditya has also been involved in volunteer research in the fields of ecology, bioacoustics, and sustainable development, including through involvement with ENGOs in Winnipeg and around the world. He believes that Canadian Mountain Network is a great initiative where both scientific and Indigenous knowledge is being used to achieve a better understanding of Canadian mountains. He is keen to help with this work through his role as a volunteer with the Canadian Mountain Assessment. Aditya welcomes opportunities to help create a more sustainable and better future for all.
