Kelly Pickerill

Biography

Kelly began working with AICBR in April 2018 and has been working to coordinate community-based research with youth on issues of climate change. She has a strong interest in participatory and people-centred research and is passionate about women’s health, gender equality, youth and education, and environmental issues. Prior to joining AICBR, Kelly’s research concerned women’s work in Uganda’s small-scale fisheries and she has also worked on a number of other research, advocacy, and education initiatives based out of East Africa. She has a Master of Arts in International Development Studies from Dalhousie University.
