Dr. Julie Talbot
Biography
Dr. Julie Talbot is a wetland biogeochemist, specializing in the study of ecosystem stability at time scales ranging from a few months to several thousands of years. Her current research looks at the impact of climate change on long-term vegetation and biogeochemical dynamics in peatlands, vegetation dynamics in the context of short- and long-term surface drying and enhanced nutrient inputs , and terrestrial-aquatic biogeochemical connectivity. Her work has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Vegetation Science, Global Change Biology, and The Holocene.
